Included in your trip price ($150 per day per person) is all kayaking gear, and a Florida Master Naturalist Guide.


What your guide will and will not do..

Tarp or cloth for sitting/cooking on the beach
Dry bags

(you bring your own personal drinking bottles, your personal first aid kit, antibacterial wipes for bathroom tasks, and your own headlamp.  Bring clothing that will cover your body and protect from sun or bugs, but also loose and breathable, one outfit in case it is cold and something to protect against rain.  A good sun hat, plenty of sunscreen, glasses, and bug dope.  shoes that can get wet but will stay on your feet – no flip flops..optional, camera, books, journal..)

If you are bringing your own food, most of the above items can be found easily in your grocery store.  Buy sausage and meats precooked to avoid spoilage, soups in boxes instead of cans, gnocchi cooks very quickly w much less water than traditional pasta, bring foods that don’t require too much water, you will have to carry it all, as there is no fresh water source out there.  Many items are  available precooked in pouches from rice dishes to indian and asian dishes to the things available at local salad bars and delis of stores.  We shop primarily at Trader Joe’s, Fresh Market, and our local grocery in Naples, FL
